So it Begins
I am a local artist and student of Scarborough; I have been given a great opportunity to create a solo exhibition in a vacant central shop. The Shop has been empty for the past few years and previously an auction house. I have been given the property for free and currently working on No Budget. The Catch is I have less than One Month to do it. I have been looking into the idea for a few weeks and I was told to contact a wonderful man at Crescent Arts, Stuart Cameron, who has handed me this wonderful opportunity. The concept is a Pop Up exhibition which will open to the public upon the 26th of March for two days and a preview on the 25th.
This blog is here to document the full process of the trials and tribulations of my next few weeks. The exhibition is an exploration of space and I have been exploring ideas about the conscious, subconscious and unconscious. My current practice is heavily based around print and I’m looking into using this within the Auction House.
